Will Eisner Gallery

Will Eisner (1917-2005) was born, when comics were still young. Without him, it's likely that comics would have never grown up and turned into graphic art and graphic novels.Eisner left us in 2005, 87 years old. He was - and is - one of the greatest artists of the last century. It is simply not possible to exagerrate his influence on the art form and other artists. Eisner was a friend of Denmark - and a personal friend of us at Comicart.dk - we miss him a lot.Will visited Denmark often - and was a member of danish artist's group Corner.
